Job Description

Position: GUI Java Developer
Location: Englewood, CO
Duration: 12 months+

Minimum Qualifications:

BS or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent

2-4 years in architecting large and business critical systems

6-8 years of experience in developing, deploying and administering Java/J2EE-based applications

6-8 years of GUI/web development experience using Java/J2EE/JSP/Servlet technologies

6-8 years of GUI/web development experience using Web 2.0/AJAX frameworks like JQuery, YUI, etc.

6-8 years of GUI/web development experience using MVC frameworks like Struts or Spring MVC

3-6 years of experience in SOA/Web Services (SOAP, RESTFul using XML and JSON)

3-5 years of strong experience with XML, XSLT, XSD, SAX/DOM, JAXB

2-4 years of experience in developing applications using RDBMS, SQL and Oracle PL/SQL

In-depth knowledge of Unix environment that includes 4-7 years of experience in shell scripting

Familiarity with application servers Weblogic and/or JBoss for deployments and administration

Familiarity with Apache HTTP/Web Server

Business knowledge and technical skills are essential for this role.
