Morning Star Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and reliable Lead Driver to provide safe transportation for our senior residents.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.

Position type: Full‑time, Non‑exempt

Responsible for driving residents to and from scheduled destinations and ensuring the safe and effective operation of community transportation vehicles.

• Drive residents to and from specified destinations such as doctor appointments, grocery shopping and other errands.
• Monitor residents’ overall well‑being and report any changes to supervisors.
• Provide driver safety training to other operators.
• Maintain records of vehicle preventative maintenance and associated costs.
• Coordinate mileage records with gas expenses.
• Submit quarterly reports to management.
• Track billable hours for residents.
• Comply with all Driver and Motor Vehicle guidelines.

• Demonstration of Core Values:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–6 months experience driving senior adults, knowledge of local streets, valid state driver’s license with good driving record, proficiency in English, excellent customer‑service skills.
• Ability to drive and maintain various types of vehicles.
• Eligibility for benefits upon 24+ hours per week of scheduled work (family members also eligible).
