Gymnastics Instructor

We’re looking for an energetic, outgoing instructor to lead gymnastics classes for children ages 4 months to 12 years at The Little Gym in Englewood, NJ.

• Introduce kids to the serious fun of education and play within The Little Gym's unique learning environment.
• Teach classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method.
• Provide outstanding customer service and membership experience.
• Lead and assist gymnastics classes, ensuring lesson plans are followed.
• Work with children of varying ability levels, promoting skill advancement, self‑confidence, and enjoyment.
• Evaluate and track student progress, offer tailored feedback, and adjust instruction.
• Foster a supportive, energetic, and positive class atmosphere.
• Adhere to safety protocols and best practices, including equipment use and spotting techniques.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development.
• Support gym events, competitions, and showcases.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gymnastics area and equipment.

• Reliable transportation to Englewood, NJ.
• Strong time‑management skills for a tight schedule.
• Excellent communication with directors, parents, and students.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends (flexibility will be discussed).
• Background in children’s education, gymnastics, cheerleading, or related field.
• Passion for singing, tumbling, cheering, dancing, high‑fives, smiling, laughing, and overall fun.
• Love working with children; this is essential.

Compensation: $16.00 – $22.00 per hour
