We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Resident Service Assistants/Home Health Aides who have a heart for helping residents make the most of each day. You will be a friendly, familiar face to residents, providing respectful, dignified hands‑on care that supports the quality of life and general wellbeing of our community.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Escort residents to meals and recreational activities
  • Support residents in achieving the highest level of physical, emotional and psycho‑social well‑being
  • Help in the Wellness area to ensure safety, comfort and wellbeing of residents
  • Follow all policies and procedures, and obey instructions of the Nurse Shift Supervisor and Director of Wellness

Full‑time schedule includes one weekend shift per week (Tues–Sat or Sun–Thurs).

Qualifications
  • Certified Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Attendant or Home Health Aide
  • Experience with residents with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia is a plus
  • Must be able to speak and read in English
  • Previous geriatric experience preferred, especially assisting with ADLs
  • Ability to follow instructions and establish personal care routines
  • Basic understanding of dementia; patience and professionalism when redirecting residents
  • Ability to adapt to different personality types and situations positively
  • Consistently reliable, caring, gentle in touch and demeanor
  • Maintain an abiding respect for the elderly and remain calm at all times
