Prepares compounded sterile products and performs related activities under the direction of a pharmacist.

• Adheres to all CAPS policies and procedures.
• Prepares compounded sterile products using aseptic technique.
• Assists in the setup of the compounding room, equipment, and supplies for preparation of compounded sterile solutions, using aseptic technique.
• Performs general cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.
• Participates in cleanroom product introduction activities.
• Prepares records and monitors results for pharmaceutical quality assurance testing.
• Assists in training/mentoring of new IV technicians as assigned.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 0-2 years related experience.
• Applicable industry/professional certification.
• Regular and predictable on‑site attendance.
• cGMP training/experience desired; training will be provided.
• Aseptic processing training/experience desired; training will be provided.

Monday‑Friday 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., with alternate weekends, plus holidays and overtime as needed.

Salary range is $20.23 – $28.50 per hour.

• Moderate work exerting up to 40 lbs of force occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly to move objects.

• Noise intensity: moderate.
• Office environment occasionally.
• Production/manufacturing environment, lab environment frequently.
