Support Services Coordinator I - E12A
Annual Salary: $51,019.37 + Full state benefit
Travel is EXTENSIVE — Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain required car insurance.
General FunctionUnder general direction, performs professional level work involving the inspection, evaluation and maintenance status of assets owned or leased by Oklahoma Human Services in an assigned geographical area; serves as a liaison for internal and external support services and guides staff through processes.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree and one year of professional or technical administrative experience in business or public administration.
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education.
* Technical administrative experience would include highly complex clerical work gained under direct supervision of a professional supervisor or manager.
Job Responsibilities- Plans, organizes and completes activities involving the inspection, evaluation and maintenance status of assets owned or leased by Oklahoma Human Services in an assigned geographical area.
- Serves as a liaison for internal and external support services.
- Responsible for agency wide new employee onboarding equipment deployments; standard office supply and special request orders for staff and locations agency wide.
- Monitors contracts for services and goods in assigned areas; primary building contact for locations in assigned areas; liaison for office equipment that utilizes OMES network connections.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of public administration; principles of management; personnel and fiscal management; basic statistical and research techniques.
- Skill in maintaining effective and satisfactory working relationships with others; interpreting routine decisions in accordance with agency policy; dealing tactfully with internal and external parties.
- Skill in handling confidential work with tact and discretion.
- Knowledge of state leasing standards, state statutes, federal laws, rules, regulations, and guidelines relating to property management; methods of project management and planning; DHS programs and how they function.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate a wide variety of activities; communicate effectively orally and in writing; interpret and apply policies and procedures; translate knowledge of programs and processes into practical resolutions for assigned locations.
- Basic knowledge of computer operating systems and related equipment; technical terminology; modern office practices related to information systems.
- Ability to gather, organize and present data effectively.
