Our Blood Institute is actively seeking qualified candidates for a rewarding position that provides a safe and pleasant blood donation experience for donors.

• High school diploma or GED required; college classes are a plus.
• No experience required – WORLD CLASS PAID on-the-job training offered.
• Reliable transportation and working telephone.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Bilingual ability is a plus.
• Passion for helping save lives.

• Perform registration, vitals, medical screening, phlebotomy, heat sealing duties and record keeping for whole-blood, autologous, directed, therapeutic, testing services, research projects, etc.
• Strictly adhere to all standard operating procedures and regulatory standards, including FDA requirements.
• Assist supervisor in verifying and completing daily paperwork.
• Alert the supervisor of any problems or concerns related to equipment, venipuncture, donor questions/issues, or equipment performance.
• Continuously assess donor needs throughout the donation process, including evaluating and treating donor reactions.
• Educate donors on blood facts such as donation frequency and the need for blood products.
• All other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Competitive pay based on experience; additional pay for technical training, associate or bachelor’s degrees, and fluency in Spanish. $500 bonus after 6 months and $1,000 bonus after 1 year.
