Our Blood Institute is actively seeking qualified candidates for a rewarding position that provides a safe and pleasant blood donation experience for donors.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED required; college classes are a plus.
- No experience required – WORLD CLASS PAID on-the-job training offered.
- Reliable transportation and working telephone.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Bilingual ability is a plus.
- Passion for helping save lives.
- Perform registration, vitals, medical screening, phlebotomy, heat sealing duties and record keeping for whole-blood, autologous, directed, therapeutic, testing services, research projects, etc.
- Strictly adhere to all standard operating procedures and regulatory standards, including FDA requirements.
- Assist supervisor in verifying and completing daily paperwork.
- Alert the supervisor of any problems or concerns related to equipment, venipuncture, donor questions/issues, or equipment performance.
- Continuously assess donor needs throughout the donation process, including evaluating and treating donor reactions.
- Educate donors on blood facts such as donation frequency and the need for blood products.
- All other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Pay & BenefitsCompetitive pay based on experience; additional pay for technical training, associate or bachelor’s degrees, and fluency in Spanish. $500 bonus after 6 months and $1,000 bonus after 1 year.

Varied based on when blood drives are scheduled. Flexible schedule required, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
