POSITION: Assistant District Attorney, District Attorney’s Office-District 4

LOCATION: Any of District 4’s Offices, including Blaine, Canadian, Garfield, Grant or Kingfisher Counties

STATUS: Full-Time State Employee (will consider Part-Time Status)

CLOSING: Open Until Filled

SALARY: $66,000-$115,000 annually based upon experience

BENEFITS: State employee benefits, including monthly allowance for health, dental and vision coverage, paid sick and vacation leave earned monthly and paid holidays.

POSITION SUMMARY: Tommy Humphries is the District Attorney for DA District 4, which includes Blaine, Canadian, Garfield, Grant and Kingfisher Counties. Our mission is to protect the public by aggressively prosecuting violent crime, advocating for and supporting crime victims, and directing appropriate offenders toward treatment and rehabilitation. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of ethics, efficiency, and professionalism to ensure the health, safety and well-being of the communities we serve.

JOB DESCRIPTION: DA Humphries seeks an attorney who will be responsible for providing civil advice and representation to the counties in District
4. Position will require attendance at public meetings and travel. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must secure and maintain a favorable background investigation.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in Oklahoma.

KNOWLEDGE AND

SKILLS:

Possess excellent oral advocacy, legal analysis and legal writing and editing skills. Display strong organizational, interpersonal communication, problem solving and teamwork skills.
