Job Responsibilities

Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.

Take beverage orders from customers or waitstaff and serve drinks.

Check identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers.

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area.

Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.

Manage cash and credit card transactions accurately using a point-of-sale system.

Provide excellent customer service and engage with patrons to enhance their experience.

Monitor and manage bar patrons' behavior and alcohol consumption to ensure customer safety.

Prepare garnishes and other drink ingredients in advance.

Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for beverage preparation and service.

Collaborate with other staff and management to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.

Participate in bar setup and closing duties, including cleaning glasses and utensils.

Suggest and upsell additional drink options or promotions to customers.

Handle customer complaints and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

Attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on new drinks, techniques, and safety protocols.

Job Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume setting.

Proficiency in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to recipes.

Strong knowledge of alcoholic beverages, beer, wine, and cocktail recipes.

Ability to assess customer preferences and make drink recommendations.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Excellent customer service skills and a welcoming demeanor.

Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating bills.

Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Understanding of applicable liquor laws and regulations.

Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS or equivalent) preferred.

Requirements

21 years of age.

Valid Liquor License.
