Senior Transportation Specialist

Are you ready to take ownership of global transportation flows and drive impact in an international, high‑tech supply chain? As a Senior Transportation Specialist at Enza Zaden, you play a key role in ensuring our vegetable seeds reach customers worldwide—efficiently, compliantly, and on time.

• Manage the planning and execution of all transportation activities across multiple international regions.
• Coordinate commercial and non‑commercial shipments via air, sea, road and courier.
• Monitor, analyze and report on logistics KPIs, costs and carrier performance.
• Act as the main point of contact for operational transport issues and first‑line escalations.
• Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives in transportation and supply chain processes.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date data in ERP systems.
• Balance logistics costs and service levels in line with business targets.
• Ensure compliant customs processes, including Incoterms and export documentation.

• Completed higher professional education (HBO / Bachelor) in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transportation Management or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in supply chain or a transport‑related position, ideally within FMCG, pharmaceuticals or the seed industry.
• Strong understanding of transportation, shipping, export, customs clearance and phytosanitary requirements.
• Experience working with ERP systems and automated tools.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships across teams and with external partners.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in English and the local language, spoken and written.
