Job Summary
The Operations Manager oversees the non-clinical daily operations of a Discovery MSO facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality support services across departments. This role supervises recovery coaches, housekeepers, chefs, and other operational support staff while managing compliance, facility readiness, safety procedures, and logistical coordination across departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Lead and manage non-clinical support teams, including Recovery Coaches (Behavioral Health Technicians), Housekeeping, and Culinary staff.
- Ensure facility cleanliness, organization, security, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and Clinical Director to maintain a therapeutic and safe environment.
- Manage staff schedules, coverage plans, timekeeping, and shift changes.
- Conduct walkthroughs and regular inspections to ensure facility standards are upheld.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments for inventory, maintenance, and supply ordering.
- Support incident response procedures and ensure proper documentation of all safety-related events.
- Train and mentor staff on client interaction protocols, facility procedures, and emergency readiness.
- Provide input on performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Assist in the onboarding of new operations personnel and team members.
- Uphold client confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and professionalism across all areas of responsibility.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in facility operations, behavioral health, or residential treatment settings.
- 1–2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards, OSHA guidelines, and behavioral health operational best practices.
- Experience in scheduling, supply tracking, and non-clinical team oversight.
Full-time; exempt
Pay Range$80,000 - $110,000 annually, plus 10-30% annual performance bonus
Schedule- Monday through Friday; 9:00am - 5:00pm
