Accounting Technician

The Company

Our client operates as part of a multi-entity group providing specialist products, services, and training across a niche technical industry in the UK and Ireland.

As the successful Accounting Technician, key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting purchase ledger, sales ledger, and credit control processes
• Assisting with month-end reporting and wider transactional finance tasks
• Managing supplier and customer queries, including occasional external communication
• Working closely with senior stakeholders and external accounting support

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience in a transactional finance role (AP, AR, or credit control)
• Strong Excel skills
• Exposure to management accounts preparation is desirable, but not essential
• Experience with accounting systems - XERO is desirable, but not essential

• Salary of £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
• 30 days annual leave including bank holidays
• Annual salary reviews and standard pension scheme
• On-site parking
