About the company:
HireIQ are partnering with a well-established, growing business as they hire for a Financial Controller. Youll oversee a small finance team and take a hands-on approach across the full finance function. The role would suit a senior finance professional who enjoys being involved in both the day-to-day and commercial aspects of the finance function, with the opportunity to work closely with the wider management team.
About the job:

• Take full ownership of the site finance function, including month-end, year-end, P&L, cash flow and financial reporting.
• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and planning process, ensuring alignment with wider business objectives.
• Provide commercial financial insight across pricing, product costing, investment and key business decisions.
• Oversee monthly management reporting, variance analysis and financial performance, partnering closely with senior stakeholders.
• Ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements are met, including VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax and Intrastat reporting.
• Manage the payroll function and ensure accurate and timely processing.
• Support wider business strategy, process improvement and financial controls across the site.
• Act as a key finance partner to the Senior Management Team, providing financial insight to support growth and performance.

About you:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
  -QBE considered with relevant expereince
• Confident Excel user advantageous
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
