An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Technician to join a well-established industrial processing and energy generation facility based in Fermanagh.

This role will suit candidates from a heavy industrial, manufacturing, production, quarrying, utilities, energy, recycling, timber, food production, or processing plant background who enjoy a hands‑on maintenance environment and are looking for a stable long-term career with excellent earning potential.

Our client is a leading industrial employer operating a large-scale production and energy facility in County Fermanagh. Due to ongoing operational requirements, they are seeking to add a Maintenance Technician to their maintenance team.

This is a varied role offering exposure to mechanical maintenance, fabrication, fault finding, hydraulic and pneumatic systems within a busy 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Working as part of the maintenance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining plant equipment and supporting the efficient operation of the facility.

Responsibilities include:

• Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance activities.
• Mechanical repairs and maintenance across a variety of plant equipment.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns.
• Welding, fabrication and fitting activities as required.
• Working on conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes and associated industrial equipment.
• Assisting with hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance.
• Responding to production breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Supporting continuous improvement and plant reliability initiatives.
• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with health and safety procedures.
• Participating in the on-call rota and responding to emergency breakdowns when required.

• Previous industrial or heavy industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience in mechanical fitting, repairs and fault finding.
• Welding and fabrication experience would be advantageous.
• Exposure to hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Strong practical and problem‑solving skills.
• Flexible attitude and willingness to support a 24/7 operation.
• Ability to respond to on‑call requirements.
• Candidates based in or close to Enniskillen are particularly encouraged to apply.

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am – 4:30pm

• Monday to Friday
• 3:00pm – 11:30pm

• On call every second weekend
• £50 retainer payment every two weeks
• Regular call‑out opportunities available
• 1‑hour response time required

• Base salary approximately £38,400
• Including shift allowance approximately £42,000+
• Additional on-call retainer payments
