Vickerstock are working in partnership with a specialist manufacturing organisation on the appointment of a Group Compliance Officer
, based in Co. Fermanagh
.
Reporting to the SHEQ Manager, you will support the management of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality compliance across multiple operational sites.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented professional to develop their experience across SHEQ management systems, auditing, training coordination and regulatory compliance within a busy manufacturing environment.
In your new role:- Maintain accurate SHEQ documentation, policies, procedures and compliance records across the Group
- Support the ongoing management and improvement of SHEQ systems in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Assist with internal and external audits, inspections and certification assessments
- Monitor audit findings, non-conformances and corrective actions through to completion
- Coordinate employee H&S training, including bookings, certification and refresher requirements
- Maintain employee training, qualification and competency records
- Support the management of statutory inspections, permits and other compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate accident, incident and near‑miss records and associated documentation
- Prepare SHEQ reports, compliance registers and supporting management information
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure documentation and compliance requirements are maintained
- Identify opportunities to improve SHEQ processes, record keeping and administrative systems
- Support the wider SHEQ team in promoting consistent standards across Group operations
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Previous experience maintaining compliance documentation, training records or certification registers
- Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and general compliance requirements
- Strong IT skills, including spreadsheets and electronic record-keeping systems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage employees and management at all levels
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
- Proactive and methodical approach to compliance and continuous improvement
- Flexibility to travel occasionally to other operational sites
- Previous experience within a SHEQ, H&S, Quality or Compliance role
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Experience supporting internal or external audits
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Previous experience within manufacturing, engineering or a similar operational environment
