We have an opportunity for a  EH&S Senior Supervisor  to join our Enschede, NL team. You will support the site leadership team in developing and managing Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) policies and programs, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Conduct risk assessments, manage permits, and lead the on-site emergency response team, while fostering a culture of safety awareness. Oversee EH&S reviews for projects, maintain compliance records, and drive the 6S program to engage stakeholders in safety practices.

You will:
Support site leadership team in developing, implementing, and managing EH&S policies, procedures, programs, and practices including managing, and coordinating a variety of EH&S aspects

Support all EH&S compliance with company, local, state, and federal requirements including management of all permits, associated inspections, associated monitoring, and annual reporting including air emissions, wastewater discharge permits

Initiate, conduct and follow up on Risk Assessment and Evaluation related to Work, Equipment and use/storage of Chemicals (RI&E + MAR). Allocate necessary actions to area owners and provide support to effectively execute the required improvements

Be responsible for other regulatory reporting/requirements including toxic release inventory (TRI), Tier II, CERCLA remediation, and spill prevention control and countermeasure (SPCC) plan

Point of contact for all (un) scheduled agency inspections, actively participate in internal and external discussions and meetings, with auditors, agencies, consultants & EH&S corp. as well as participate in corporate sponsored safety audits and compliance reviews

Respond to EH&S incidents and lead the on-site emergency response team including providing technical support for on-going problem solving and safety investigations

Lead the Site Emergency Team (BHV)

Develop effective communication process to make EH&S priorities and performance visible, consistently coach and work with facility leadership to be a visible leader on all aspects of EH&S such as accident prevention, safe work practices

Maintain and develop recordkeeping systems compliant to the requirements, including development of tracking spreadsheets and databases

Lead all EH&S reviews (management of change process) regarding capital projects, changes, modifications, and introductions safety impacts, permitting and compliance requirements

Review and inform leadership of any regulatory changes and prepare the site for compliance with these changes

Drive the 6S program and inspire/engage all area owners and other stakeholders to be actively engaged in the program

Create a culture of Safety Awareness and Safety First

Manage the implementation of Environmental Health and safety management systems in compliance with international standards ISO 14001: 2015 and ISO 45001: 2018

Evaluate and approve subcontractors for service and systems installation work on EH&S requirements

Support Project Managers and other staff, while travelling and when working on site work at customer with applicable Pentair EH&S policies

Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in the field of Engineering/Electronics/Mechanical

(Post Bachelor) Higher Safety Science (HVK)

Experience:

(+5 years) of EH&S experience in a manufacturing facility (200+)

Designed, managed and implemented EH&S programs at a facility or multiple facilities

Conducted and facilitated site inspections, audits and regulatory visits

Managed emergency response incidents and implemented corrective actions, RCCM's

Liaised with all other functional first line management and supervision

Created and managed budget for EH&S activities
