we are building the world’s most compact and energy-efficient RGB laserchip for AR glasses, Automotive and Industrial applications. Our technology sits at the heart of next-generation augmented reality—where performance, size, and scalability define success.

We’re looking for a Project Manager who can drive complex hardware development projects from concept to scalable product.

The smallest and most efficient RGB laser light engine in the world based on Integrated Photonics. Working closely with tech giants, component suppliers and other partners, we are entering the next phase of system integration and scaling to enable the ultimate Augmented Reality experience.
Brilliance is a start-up, but we’re leaning on >20 years of technology development and IP within the Twente area. Currently we are delivering the prototypes to our customers while growing the company and preparing for high volume production. * What you will be doing
* * Lead customer specific projects and development projects for our integrated RGB laserchip technology from prototype to validation to industrialization

* Translate R&D breakthroughs into clear plans, milestones, and deliverables

* Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across:
Photonics / PIC design engineers, Process Engineer, Electrical Engineers, Process & manufacturing partners

* Manage timelines, risks, budgets, and external stakeholders

* Support customer and partner projects in the global AR ecosystem

* What you bring
* * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Photonics, or related field

* 4+ years of project management experience in hardware, semiconductors, or deep tech

* Excellent stakeholder management across technical and commercial domains

* Experience with technical development projects (lab to production)

* Structured yet adaptable mindset, a must in a fast-moving xxqafcf startup

* Self-starter, not afraid to think outside the box to drive results

* A background in photonics, optics, or physics is a plus, as well as experience with fabrication and/or wafer-scale processes
