We are excited to announce the opening of our upcoming preschool program and are seeking passionate educators to join our team.
Position SummaryWe are looking for a Full Time Preschool Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for preschool-aged children. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about early childhood development and committed to fostering a positive learning experience aligned with YMCA values.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Observe and assess children's progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
- Maintain compliance with YMCA policies and state licensing requirements.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Passion for supporting children's growth and development.
