Position SummaryRetail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family, shaping the future of health care for people, businesses and communities. In this high‑impact, customer‑focused role you will work independently and as part of a team to positively impact lives one customer at a time.
Essential Functions- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving service issues with compassion.
- Deliver warm, friendly greetings and help customers locate additional items.
- Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks and credit card transactions with precision.
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information and completing inventory tasks as directed by the store manager.
- Support opening and activities when needed.
- Provide support to all departments, ensuring they remain fully stocked and operational.
- Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy to grow your career.
- Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that help people on their path to better health.
- Remain upright on your feet for sustained periods.
- Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and a negligible amount regularly for moving objects.
- Maintain visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal and reading small parts.
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

CompensationHourly: $15.00 – $18.00
