Location: Crystal Mountain, Washington

Compensation: $21-$25/hour D.O.E.

As a Racecourse Attendant at Crystal Mountain, you will maintain the free public racecourse and provide information to members of public. You will commit to providing excellent experiences and memories of a lifetime. While maintaining a presence at the course you will engage with guests in the vicinity and perform regular checks of the course to ensure safe operating conditions.

• Maintain a visual presence at the course.
• Physically inspect the course prior to opening for any hazards in the terrain or equipment associated with the course.
• Set and maintain racing gates and fencing for the course.
• Maintain snow removal from around the starting hut and other structures inaccessible to the grooming department.
• Respond to customer concerns/questions.
• Contribute to a positive working environment.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and secure working environment.
• Promote and ensure safe practices using all required PPE and adhering to proper safety protocols in all activities.
• Promote and market activity options to our guests.
• Attend daily pre‑shift meetings and necessary trainings.
• Gather guest feedback and recommend improvements to management.
• Promote and maintain the highest level of customer service by anticipating the needs of our guests even before they realize what they need.
• Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to management. Notify supervisor of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items or alleged thefts.
• Develop and maintain an organizational culture, values and reputation with staff and guests.
• Ensure a positive, harmonious, compliant, and cooperative work environment.
• Act as a representative of Crystal Mountain with guests & community members.
• Abide by all Crystal Mountain employment guidelines.
