Join Our Team as a Locum - Physician - OB/GYN in Enumclaw, WA

Elevate your medical career by providing vital obstetric and gynecological care at a respected Critical Access Hospital nestled in a picturesque community. This temporary opportunity offers you the flexibility to make a meaningful difference in patient lives while working in a supportive team environment. As a key provider, you'll be responsible for managing diverse OB/GYN cases, including low and high-risk pregnancies, surgeries, and emergency call coverage, ensuring excellent patient outcomes.

Required Skills:
  • Valid and active medical license in Washington State
  • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Experience with routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections and third to fourth-degree laceration repairs
  • Proficiency in OB inductions, emergent GYN surgeries, and FHR interpretation
  • Ability to handle low and high-risk pregnancies with confidence
  • Strong communication skills and team collaboration
  • Comfort with on-call duties and emergency procedures
Nice to Have

Skills:
  • Experience working in a critical access hospital or similar small hospital setting
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR system
  • Previous locum and hospital-based OB/GYN experience
  • Ability to supervise and assist during C-sections
  • Knowledge of VBAC management and GYN surgical procedures
Preferred

Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Minimum of 2 years' clinical experience in OB/GYN practice
  • Prior experience with high-acuity obstetric cases preferred
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to respond within 20 minutes during on-call hours
  • Willingness to work varied shifts, averaging 7-8 shifts per month over 9-12 months
  • Credentialing at the facility within three weeks of start date; candidate must provide all necessary documentation promptly
  • Travel accommodations including preferred lodging options such as hotels or Airbnb; local travel preferred
  • Support staff including in-clinic MA or LPN and hospital-based RNs
  • Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP required
