Experience:
- Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program
Skills:
- Proficient in clinical documentation and basic internet navigation
- Valid NBCOT certification
- Valid state license (if applicable)

Responsibilities Occupational TherapistSummary: Provide occupational therapy services to patients, maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients, in accordance with occupational therapy principles and Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines. Responsibilities include screening, evaluation, treatment planning, discharge planning, supervision of assistants and rehab techs, and case management. Maintain professionalism and adhere to all regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Enhance patient functionality through direct or overseen occupational therapy
- Provide supervision and consultation to COTAs
- Supervise COTAs and Rehab Techs during treatments, promoting resource efficiency and skill development, compliant with state laws and policies
- Develop and build a robust occupational therapy program
- Enhance clinical and management skills through collaboration and continuing education
- Maintain valid state licensure and stay informed on professional issues
- Understand billing, treatment guidelines, and delivery modes to ensure quality and compliance
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively in English in all professional documentation and interactions
