Operating in the Motion Systems Group and Hydraulic Actuator Division, you will perform general maintenance on equipment and building facilities that support and maintain manufacturing operations, including preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Responsibilities- Execute preventative maintenance of equipment and building facilities.
- Troubleshoot various types of manufacturing equipment to limit machine downtime.
- Use a broad range of hand and machine tools to disassemble and reassemble equipment, ensuring accurate and efficient operations.
- Perform building maintenance duties, including troubleshooting light electrical equipment, carpentry, and plumbing.
- Initiate machine programs using CNC or PC programmers.
- Identify and remediate safety hazards and concerns.
- Perform machining and welding tasks.
- Clean equipment and work area.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Minimum of 1 year of related maintenance experience and/or maintenance education.
- Ability to perform maintenance trades including welding, pipe fitting, fabrication, rigging systems, gearbox & bearing maintenance, lubrication, pumps & piping systems, mechanical maintenance and hydraulic & pneumatic systems.
- Experience with troubleshooting and programming of PLC controllers is preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Basic understanding of gauge/measuring devices.
- Basic blueprint understanding.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
- Work effectively with outside contractors to meet business objectives in a timely fashion.
- Stay up to date with related maintenance training of electronic and hydraulic systems.
- Perform required duties in accordance with safety guidelines and lean principles, including formal problem solving.
- Apply shop math, read complex drawings and specifications, work with charts, tables, measuring and precision tools, and employ electrical/electronic devices and programmers to diagnose issues on CNC and PC‑controlled equipment.
Hourly Pay: $27.78 – $32.51
