Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Machinist Skilled on 1st shift to set up and operate machining equipment.
Responsibilities- Loads, unloads, deburrs, and inspects parts being run.
- Checks oil, coolant, grease, and other light maintenance items needed.
- Keeps machines and work areas clean and organized.
- Performs basic preparation of setups (only as allowed by supervisor on PSPF 013, posted in that cell).
- Actively participates in High Performance Teams and company‑sponsored training programs.
- Completes additional duties and projects as assigned.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a CNC lathe, shaper, hobber, or mill operator, or equivalent.
- Previous experience in this field preferred but not required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to hear and speak. The employee must regularly stand, walk, sit, and use hands to grasp and handle. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 40 lbs. The employee will regularly bend, stoop, and stretch handling parts/objects. Vision requirements include close vision, ability to focus, and depth perception.
This position may be exposed to oils, dirt, fumes, and moving equipment. The noise level is usually moderate to loud.

Competitive CompensationPay Range: $23.63/hr to $29.58/hr
Participation in Annual Incentive Program.
