Position Summary

Parker Hannifin Hydraulic Actuator Division in Enumclaw, Washington is seeking a 2nd shift Assembler to prepare and assemble products and components.

Monday - Friday 2nd shift starting at 1:15pm with 30 min unpaid lunch.

Your responsibilities:

  • Use a variety of hand tools and basic production equipment to prepare components for assembly.
  • Assemble repetitive products by accurately reading and interpreting assembly drawings.
  • Perform all phases of assembly, including timing.
  • Give functional tests to finished assemblies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Actively participate in High Performance Teams and company-sponsored training.
  • Perform the required duties in accordance with safety guidelines and lean principles by complying with all safety procedures and all company policies.
  • Maintain work areas by cleaning and organizing the space and equipment.
  • Actively participate in company-sponsored training programs.
  • Complete additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Previous forklift experience preferred.
  • Previous overhead crane/hoist experience preferred.
  • Previous shipping/receiving experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
  • Ability to multitask and organize work/priorities.
  • Must be able to read tape measure and other measuring devices.
Physical Demands / Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to hear and speak. The employee must regularly stand, walk, sit and use hands to grasp and handle. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 40 lbs. The employee will regularly bend, stoop, and stretch handling parts/objects in various situations. Specific vision requirements include close vision, ability to focus, and depth perception.

This position may be exposed to oils, dirt, fumes and moving equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule Competitive Compensation
  • Pay Range: $23.63/hr to $29.58/hr
