Billing Clerk

Description We are looking for an experienced Billing specialist to support invoicing operations in Pennsylvania. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who combines strong billing knowledge with advanced Excel skills and can work accurately in a fast-paced environment. The role will include core billing activities as well as significant involvement in preparing automated invoices, making it a strong fit for someone who is highly accurate and comfortable working with data.

Responsibilities:

- Process billing transactions accurately and in a timely manner to support daily financial operations.

- Prepare and review invoices, ensuring charges, rates, and supporting details are correct before distribution.

- Use Excel to organize billing data, perform reconciliations, and create reports that improve visibility into invoicing activity.

- Support the preparation of automated invoices, including validating source data and confirming output accuracy.

- Investigate billing discrepancies and work with internal stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.

- Maintain organized records of invoices, billing documents, and related account information for audit and tracking purposes.

- Monitor recurring billing tasks and help ensure deadlines are met consistently.

- Assist with updates to billing workflows or tools as needed, including invoice automation-related activities. Requirements - At least 2 years of billing or billing support experience in a detail-focused office environment.

- Strong Excel skills, including the ability to manage data, use formulas, and work with spreadsheets efficiently.

- Experience reviewing invoices for accuracy and resolving billing-related issues.

- High attention to detail with the ability to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.

- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments.

- Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to learn billing processes quickly and adapt to evolving workload needs.
