Matrix Education is now hiring English Teachers to join our growing team at our Castle Hill, Strathfield, Epping, Chatswood or Hurstville campuses. With both casual and full‑time opportunities available, you’ll be teaching in a supportive, professional, and inspiring environment.

As an English Teacher at Matrix, you will teach your regular classes each week at one of our fabulous campuses, with minimal preparation required, as lessons and resources are prepared for you
.

This role is ideal for a current NESA accredited Teacher, a professional with previous teaching experience, or a postgraduate student (MTeach, MD or PhDc).

Our classes run after school on weekdays and on weekends.

• Teaching regular weekly classes throughout the academic term.
• Ongoing monitoring of student’s academic progress through marking weekly essay submissions.
• Flagging of struggling students to academic team leaders for additional academic mentoring.

• Possess a genuine passion for teaching.
• Previous experience teaching secondary English in a classroom setting.
• Have extensive knowledge of the current NESA curriculum in stage 4, 5 and 6 English.
• Have completed their degree in Education, Arts, Philosophy or a related discipline.
• Postgraduate studies in the above listed disciplines will be highly regarded.
