Description

We are seeking a skilled and client-focused Audit Senior to join our expanding team. As an Audit Senior, you will lead audit assignments, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards while building strong client relationships. This role requires an approachable and professional individual who understands client needs and delivers exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, maintaining high-quality standards.

Ensure audit files contain all necessary documentation, properly organized.

Analyze accounting data from client records, providing insights and recommendations.

Oversee and ensure compliance with regulatory, internal audit methodology, and risk management requirements.

Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor.

Identify and understand client needs, offering tailored solutions.

Address client queries promptly and professionally.

Mentor and support junior team members.

Collaborate with team members to deliver accurate and timely client files and audits.

Deliver client work in adherence to legal and statutory requirements.

Prepare and review client documents, including accounts, tax filings, PAYE, and VAT submissions.

Plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines.

Utilize best practices and available tools to improve efficiency and quality.

Key Requirements

ACA/ACCA qualification is required (part-qualified candidates will also be considered).

Additional Requirements

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Previous experience in audit within a practice environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Dependable, professional, and self-motivated.
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
