THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs while ensuring all work is completed to the highest manufacturer standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
Diagnosing faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment and systems
Completing Electronic Vehicle Health Checks
Identifying and reporting additional work required on customer vehicles
Conducting road tests and vehicle inspections where required
Working closely with the Service Department to ensure excellent customer communication
Maintaining high levels of efficiency, quality, and workmanship
Supporting apprentices and less experienced technicians when appropriate
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will have:
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic
Full UK Driving Licence
Diagnostic experience desirable
Previous dealership or manufacturer experience desirable
MOT Tester Licence desirable but not essential
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
