We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable car dealership in Epsom, seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join their dynamic team. Duties of the Workshop Controller:
- Oversee daily workshop operations to ensure productivity and efficiency
- Allocate jobs to technicians and monitor workflow to meet service deadlines
- Provide technical support and guidance to the workshop team
- Liaise closely with service advisors to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Manage workshop KPIs, including productivity, profitability, and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies
- Support the development of team members through coaching and performance management
- Proven experience as a Workshop Controller or similar role within a car dealership environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent knowledge of workshop processes and automotive systems (preferably Kerridge/Drive)
- Ability to organise workload effectively and prioritise tasks
- Good communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
