Are you an experienced Associate Architect looking for your next challenge? My client is seeking a commercially minded Associate Architect to join their growing team in Epsom. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with strong technical expertise and business development skills to support the continued growth of the practice, working across the Life Sciences, Healthcare, and various other sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver architectural projects across the Life Sciences, Healthcare, and various other sectors from concept through to completion.
- Build and develop strong client relationships, bringing existing contacts and project opportunities where possible.
- Secure new work through frameworks, direct appointments, and business development activities across the public and private sectors.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee project programmes, budgets, quality, and client expectations.
- Manage compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other quality management standards.
- Deliver client presentations and represent the practice at meetings and networking opportunities.
- Ensure projects comply with UK Building Regulations, health & safety legislation, and sustainability requirements.
- Mentor junior team members and support the continued growth of the architectural team.
- Qualified Architect with 20+ years of industry experience.
- Proven experience delivering Life Sciences and Healthcare projects.
- Demonstrable ability to generate new business through an established client network.
- Strong track record of securing projects through frameworks and direct appointments.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, with Revit experience desirable.
- Excellent understanding of UK Building Regulations, health & safety standards, and sustainable design principles.
- Strong communication, presentation, and client management skills.
- Ideally based within a commutable distance of Epsom.
