Location: Ashtead
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and flexible Teaching Assistant full time over 39 weeks.
- Supporting the class teacher with their responsibility for the development and education of children in schools, which will involve working 1to1 with pupils with special needs.
- To assistan individual teacher, or teachers, in delivering and evaluating programmes and adapting teaching materials to suit the particular requirements of individualpupils and groups.
- To assistin meeting the pupils’ need for encouragement, reassurance and comfort andattend to their personal requirements and physical care while encouraging independence at all times.
- The individual will have specialisttraining/experience to support their lead role/intervention and provide a levelof support for individual pupils/groups of pupils whose needs require supportover and above that which a level one Teaching Assistant is expected toprovide.
