This specialist SEMH school provides a calm, supportive and highly structured learning environment for primary and secondary-aged pupils with autism and associated needs, including ADHD, speech and language difficulties, sensory needs and behavioural challenges. With a strong emphasis on personalised learning and high expectations, pupils are supported to develop independence, emotional regulation, life skills and positive learning behaviours. The school delivers a holistic and therapeutic approach where every day is a fresh start.
Learning is tailored to individual needs, helping pupils reflect, build self-esteem and make progress both academically and personally.
- Role: SEMH Teacher (Primary & Secondary)
- Salary: M1-UPS3 teacher scale
- Hours:
Monday-Friday, 08:15am - 4:30pm - Teaching primary and secondary SEMH learners
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
- Supporting pupils with SEMH, autism and associated needs
- Creating a safe, structured and positive classroom environment
- Promoting emotional regulation, resilience and confidence
- Working closely with clinical staff and wider school teams
- Tracking progress and supporting individual learning pathways
