About Auriol Junior School

Auriol Junior is a three-form entry junior school in Surrey with a deaf unit in Epsom, Surrey. A part of the Bourne Education Trust (BET), a successful multi-academy trust of twenty-five schools across Surrey, Hampshire, and the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, we are committed to “Transforming schools…changing lives.”

We work to create an environment where children are continually supported and challenged, fostering growth and development. Our curriculum and high-quality teaching sparks curiosity and a desire for further knowledge in each child. We provide opportunities for success and setbacks, nurturing resilience and adaptability. Our staff guide and support children in understanding their emotions and feelings, fostering their social and emotional development.

We view education as a shared endeavour involving children, staff, local governing committee, parents, and the wider community. We work collaboratively, ensuring every child receives the support and care they need to thrive academically and emotionally. Together, we create a network of accountability and support, providing whatever it takes to achieve successful outcomes for the children we cherish.
