Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs? Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant, someone with a background in care or youth work, or a Psychology, Criminology, or Sociology graduate, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference.

We are working with a unique provision based in Epsom supporting pupils with moderate learning difficulties within a mainstream secondary school. This role in Epsom is also an excellent opportunity for a Psychology, Criminology, or Sociology graduate looking to gain valuable hands-on experience in education and SEN.

About the Role

As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will be working within a specialist centre based in a mainstream secondary school in Epsom, supporting students who require additional help to access education. This role would suit both experienced SEN practitioners and a Psychology, Criminology, or Sociology graduate interested in developing a career in education, psychology, or mental health.

Key Responsibilities for a SEN Learning Support Assistant

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
  • Assist in delivering a tailored, hybrid curriculum
  • Support students' social, emotional, and academic development
  • Work closely with teaching staff and SEN professionals
  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
  • Experience working with children, young people, or individuals with SEN (desirable but not essential)
  • A caring, patient, and resilient nature
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • An interest in education, SEN, or mental health

Fantastic on-site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all pupils
Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, term time only
93- 105 per day
You MUST have right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorship
Able to commute to Epsom
