At Ashley Park School, we're looking for compassionate, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our growing team. • Bring learning to life by supporting teachers to deliver engaging, creative and personalised lessons that inspire every pupil.
• Provide tailored one-to-one and small-group support, helping pupils overcome barriers, access learning and achieve their individual goals.
• Build confidence, independence, communication skills and positive relationships, empowering pupils to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.
• Champion positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing, creating a calm, safe and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.
• Support the planning, delivery and review of personalised learning activities and individual support plans that maximise pupil progress.
• Prepare engaging learning resources and help create stimulating classrooms that spark curiosity, creativity and a love of learning.
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, families and external professionals to provide consistent, joined‑up support that enables every pupil to succeed.
• Maintain accurate records while upholding the highest standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and pupil wellbeing, ensuring every child is protected and supported.

• Passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs.
• Patient, compassionate and committed to helping every pupil achieve their full potential.
• A positive team player with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Adaptable, resilient and able to respond confidently to individual pupil needs.
• Previous experience working with children with SEN or relevant SEN qualifications are beneficial, but not essential – we'll provide training and support to help you succeed.
• Willing to learn, develop and work towards further professional qualifications.
• Holds a Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (desirable).
• Committed to completing all relevant induction and mandatory training.
• Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Ashley Park School is a brand-new independent specialist school in Epsom, Surrey, for autistic young people aged 11–19, with a capacity for 60 pupils.
