Technician in Fashion Design

We are looking for a Technician in Fashion Design to join our vibrant technical services team. In this role, you'll provide expert demonstration and support in pattern cutting and garment construction, delivering workshops, demonstrations, and one-to-one support that equips students with the technical skills and confidence to bring their creative ideas to life.

Please note:

This is a fixed term contract until 31^st July 2027.

• # Support pattern cutting and garment production techniques across a range of levels.
• # Develop engaging learning materials, including handouts, sample work, and digital resources.
• # Support safe and effective use of our specialist fashion studios, equipment, and processes.
• # Work closely with academic teams to align technical demonstrations with course curriculum.
• # Contribute to student exhibitions, shows, and cross-disciplinary practice.

• # Extensive knowledge and practical expertise in pattern cutting and garment production.
• # Experience teaching or supporting students in technical fashion skills.
