Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with a leading Further Education provider to recruit an experienced Math Lecturer in London. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality Maths education and support students in developing the knowledge, skills and confidence required for further study and employment.

Location: London

Contract: Temporary

Start Date: September

Hours: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective Math lessons across the relevant curriculum.
  • Plan and deliver lessons, learning activities and assessments in line with curriculum requirements.
  • Deliver GCSE Math, Functional Skills Math and other relevant Math programmes.
  • Support students with their academic development and progression.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of student achievement and progress.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Use engaging teaching methods to develop students' mathematical knowledge and confidence.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team.
  • Support students in developing the skills required for further study and employment.
About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Experience teaching
Math within an FE or Sixth Form setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge across Math and related areas.
  • A recognised teaching qualification.
  • A degree in Mathematics, Math Education or a relevant subject.
  • Experience delivering GCSE and/or Functional Skills Math.
  • Excellent communication, classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • A genuine passion for supporting students to achieve strong academic and career outcomes.
