Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with a leading Further Education provider to recruit an experienced

English Lecturer in London. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality English education and support students in developing the knowledge, skills and confidence required for further study and employment.

Contract: Temporary

Start Date: September

Hours: Full-time

• Deliver engaging and effective English lessons across the relevant curriculum.
• Plan and deliver lessons, learning activities and assessments in line with curriculum requirements.
• Deliver GCSE English, Functional Skills English and other relevant English programmes.
• Support students with their academic development and progression.
• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement and progress.
• Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Use engaging teaching methods to develop students' English, literacy and communication skills.
• Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team.
• Support students in developing the skills required for further study and employment.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Experience teaching

• Strong subject knowledge across English and related areas.
• A recognised teaching qualification.
• A degree in English, English Education or a relevant subject.
• Excellent communication, classroom management and organisational skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate learners.
• A genuine passion for supporting students to achieve strong academic and career outcomes.

• Functional Skills English
• English Language and Literacy
• English Literature, where required
• Relevant FE / Sixth Form English programmes

• Further Education learners.
• Sixth Form / post-16 students, where required.
• Classroom-based delivery in London.

• Full-time
• Monday to Friday
