38.6 weeks per year, approximately 15 hours per week to start as soon as possible in September 2026. Fixed Term with a view to becoming permanent. Wallace Fields Junior School currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic team in our happy and friendly school.

Job overview

Teaching assistants support our children in their learning by either working with individuals or groups of students. They also contribute to the assessment, planning, recording, monitoring, and reporting of students’ progress. The post will require the successful applicant to undertake any such duties as may be assigned which are consistent with the nature of the job and the level of responsibility, these include lunch time supervisor duties.
