Are you an experienced structural designer able to take responsibility for complex schemes while also doing hands‑on design and running projects? Interested in working in the specialist power industry?

• Pick up hands‑on design using Tekla.
• Mentor junior staff and oversee compliance with QA/QC procedures.
• Act as technical lead on projects.
• Design substation and battery storage facilities, blast‑resistant buildings, switch houses, GIS buildings, buildings to house transformer cells, and specialist steelwork structures and supports underground and inside tunnels to carry heavy power cables.
• Manage refurbishment and new‑build projects ranging from small to multi‑million‑pound schemes.
• Travel to sites in London and the South East; a pool car will be provided.

• Chartered MIStruct
  
  E or MICE (or nearing this status).
• Excellent technical background with project management and people management skills.
• Experience in the power sector is highly advantageous.
• Eligible to live and work in the UK.
