Assistant Design Engineer - Civil/Structural —
Location:
Epsom (Hybrid Working). Salary:
Up to £40,000.
Are you an early-career Civil/Structural Engineer looking to develop your technical capability within the growing UK energy and infrastructure sector? Would you like exposure to technically varied design & build projects across substations, battery energy storage, enabling works and wider infrastructure civils?
Key responsibilities- Supporting the preparation of civil engineering designs, drawings and technical documentation
- Assisting with multidisciplinary project delivery across infrastructure and energy schemes
- Supporting design coordination, technical reviews and BIM processes
- Producing engineering documentation in line with project and quality requirements
- Assisting with site visits, surveys and project meetings where required
- Working alongside senior engineers to develop technical knowledge and project experience
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 1 year of hands on civil engineering design experience
- Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit or similar
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- An interest in developing within the energy and infrastructure sector
