APT Skidata has equipment installed in several customers’ car parks and entertainment‑based sites situated throughout the country. Part of the global SWARCO Group.
What you will do- Connect, commission and maintain SKIDATA equipment, IT hardware/software, network devices, EV charging and other access control devices.
- Ensure that our access solutions operate as specified while also providing reliable maintenance, repairs and class‑leading customer service.
- Escalate technical issues to the Technical Services Team and work together to achieve resolution.
- Complete customer hardware and software training remotely via Cornerstone software.
- Proven experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting IT hardware and software and basic electrical knowledge.
- Experience with operation and maintenance of access devices including installation and flashing firmware (Linux) and software configuration.
- Basic network technology – including TCP/IP protocols and the ability to analyse and solve technical network problems.
- Ability to work in car park, stadia and construction environments and hold a valid UK driver’s licence.
- Willingness to work in a specified geographic area but may need to travel nationally and stay overnight when required.
