Trainee Engineer, Trainee Stairlift Engineer

Overview

A Trainee Engineer position has arisen with a leading supplier of stairlifts. They are looking for a Junior Engineer with an electrical bias to train and develop within the company. Initially you will work alongside an experienced Engineer until you are competent to service and install stairlifts independently.

• Install, service, fault find and repair stairlifts, platform lifts, ceiling hoists and door and window automation within customers  homes.
• Work alongside an experienced Engineer until competent to service and install independently.
• Typically conduct 3 to 4 visits a day (depending on duration).

• Minimum of 1 years  experience as an Engineer with an electrical or electronic bias (e.g., satellite engineer or telecoms engineer).
• Full driving licence; willing to travel and eager to learn.

Location:

Candidates will live in Surrey, Southwest London, Berkshire or Hertfordshire and will cover Surrey, West Sussex, South London, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire as a territory.

Salary:
Circa 30k. Some weekend overtime is available but generally hours are Monday to Friday 8:00–17:30. Benefits include a company van, 20 days annual leave and a company pension.
