Civil Engineer

Want to play a leading role in transformational UK water infrastructure? We are looking for an energetic, experienced Civil Water Engineer to join a premier design and advanced technology consultancy. This is a high-profile, 12-month contract delivering cutting-edge, iconic projects across clean water, wastewater, and water reuse systems.

National (Priority hubs: Epsom, London, Peterborough, or Cambridge)

Hybrid (3 days per week office/site based)

• Design & Team Management: Coordinating a talented civil engineering team to deliver high-quality technical designs across hydraulics, water treatment infrastructure, and pipeline networks.
• Full Lifecycle Delivery: Producing and reviewing critical design reports, calculations, and drawings, adding value from client-side concepts through to construction-phase support.

  Working alongside MEICA, structural, and geotechnical teams in the UK and overseas to deliver seamlessly integrated solutions.
• Mentorship: Guiding junior team members and helping grow the local team's technical capabilities.

  Proven background within a design consultancy specifically focused on the UK Water market (essential).
• Lifecycle & Contractor Savvy: Strong experience collaborating directly with contractors to deliver projects across the full engineering lifecycle.
• Technical & Regulatory Depth: Practical knowledge of Eurocodes, CDM regulations, NEC contracts, water utility standards, and risk assessment/quality control processes.
• Qualifications: A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (Chartered or Incorporated status is highly preferred).
