Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with high voltage experience looking to step into a leadership role at a well-known, financially backed multi-utility provider in a period of significant growth?
Do you have previous management and want to lead a multi-disciplined design team on strategic projects, with genuine progression on offer and full support towards further technical development across the multi-utility sector?
This company are a multi-utility provider of gas, water, electricity, district heating and LV services. Established for over 30 years, they are a major name within the industry and are currently expanding their teams as they take on new projects.
In this role the successful candidate will lead a team of 5 direct reports covering electric, gas and water design. They will run Tier 1 Assurance, ensuring assets adopted from construction clients are compliant with standards and regulations, with a strong focus on quality. This will include carrying out design reviews, issuing technical approval to developers and liaising with construction partners and wider stakeholders to offer technical support and guidance.
The ideal candidate will have an electrical design background at 33kV or above within a utility-scale environment, along with management experience and strong interpersonal skills.

Hybrid working - 2/3 days a week in Ashtead

The Person:
Electrical design background working at 33kV or above
Utility design experience - IDNO, ICP or DNO background ideal, other utility scale industries will be considered
Management experience with good interpersonal skills
Commutable to Ashtead 2/3 days a week
