this post is designed to support the cardiac rhythm service at epsom and st helier hospitals. The post holder will be required to assist with device implants in our catheter lab at epsom hospital and in the device follow-up clinics at both epsom and st helier hospitals. There is also a small simple ep service run in the lab on a bi weekly basis.

the successful candidate should hold a recognized heart rhythm device qualification such as ibhre, ehra or bhrs.

the successful candidate should have experience in all of the following areas: ilr follow-up, bradycardia implant and follow-up, crt and icd implant and follow-up.

the successful candidate will take on responsibility for the investigation, reporting, diagnoses and where appropriate alteration to therapy and patient care needs, working as an independent practitioner.

working practice should be in accordance with occupational guidelines set out for each investigation, but you will have sufficient expertise to adapt practice to meet the requirements of the service area.

the successful candidate will need to work in all areas of non-invasive diagnostic cardiology investigations across epsom and st. Helier hospitals.
