Position: Healthcare Specialist Lecturer

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Level 5 Healthcare teaching, focusing on Health Play, paediatric healthcare, distraction techniques and therapeutic play interventions.
• Assess learner work, provide developmental feedback, support achievement and maintain accurate learner and assessment records.
• Develop teaching resources and contribute to curriculum planning, quality assurance, safeguarding and ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Health Play Specialist or within paediatric healthcare, with experience teaching adult, FE or HE learners.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised teaching qualification, plus a relevant Level 5+ healthcare qualification.
• Registered member of the Society of Health Play Specialists, with GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
