Registered Nurse - Bank

Overview

Role:
Registered Nurse - Bank at Rosebery Manor Care Home in Epsom. Shift options are 07:00 AM to 19:30 PM or 19:15 PM to 07:15 AM. You will act as person in charge when required, support the Manager, and ensure high standards of care for residents.

• Undertake nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions.
• Advise families of residents and General Practitioners of any changes in condition and keep them informed to support ongoing care decisions.
• Supervise the care team and deploy staff effectively to ensure duties are completed during duty periods and residents receive required care.
• Provide high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.

• Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years experience with up-to-date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post-basic studies/qualification.
• Display strong interpersonal skills and the ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
• Have sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
