Cafe Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and flexible supervisor to support the manager in running our popular, busy garden centre café, to start asap. You must have excellent communication skills and provide first-rate customer service, be highly organised and proactive and a great team player, people manager and be willing to help out in all areas in the café. Barista training would be an advantage.

You will work full-time, including alternate weekends (with a weekday day off in lieu) and no evening shifts, giving a good work-life balance. On your weekend on (and on the manager’s days off), you will supervise the day-to-day running of the café and manage the weekend or weekday staff team.

The café is part of our popular, independent, family-run garden centre in Ashtead.

Serving breakfast, speciality tea and coffee, cakes, pizza, light lunches and ice cream, the café has space for around 300 customers including outdoor seating. Afternoon Tea is served in our function room, which can also be booked for larger parties and events.
